Guide Lines for Junior Boy’s playing in the Men’s Leagues
Amongst other areas, Durham and
Cleveland are keen to promote the playing of squash by juniors. Indeed
squash is one of the few sports where juniors can play in fully competitive
matches with senior counterparts. In order to maintain this excellent
integration of age groups, the joint counties do not apply a minimum age
limit to the senior league matches. Clubs are reminded however that should
they decide to have juniors playing in the leagues that they have a
responsibility to ensure that the adequate child-protection mechanisms are
put in place. This includes not only the appropriate considerations for
changing and preventing potential for a child to be left with a single adult
but also to ensure someone can intervene should markers or opponents attempt
to impose any bullying in any of its forms. |
